illustratorJP is easy going and all in all a pleasant chap, except when someone has borrowed his Pigma Micron pens, or even worse – left the cap open. That's the time to say goodbye to fun and laughter. Luckily he is really easy to conciliate with some sushi or tea, for instance.
what kinds of tools do you prefer when working?
"I try to choose the method depending on the illustration. Each illustration has its own persona anyhow. But most of my works are done with pen and paper, then coloured digitally in Photoshop."
If you were a superhero, what'd be your superpower?
"I'd have the ability to transform myself into a Wacom tablet. Then I'd draw illustrations and comics with myself at record breaking speed!"
What's the best music right now?
"Riverside's Rapid Eye Movement just might be the best album of 2007."
